Lake Forest Nextdoor Link
Posted on Mar 10th, 2017
Hello Lake Forest Residents,

If you are interested in joining Lake Forest Nextdoor, please click here to register.

Nextdoor is a free social networking service that connects neighbors and can be used to share recommendations for home repairs, find lost pets, and share security alerts.  It is our primary communication method for Neighborhood Watch. You can buy, sell, and trade items conveniently with folks in your neighborhood. Nextdoor is a threaded discussion board forum.  You can subscribe to just Lake Forest or add as many as 49 other nearby neighborhoods to your newsfeed.  You control what information you share and what emails and alerts you receive. Mobile apps for Android and iOS devices are available but offer limited function compared to the website.

WE NEED YOUR INPUT!

Tell us your vision for Round Rock in 2030.

The City has launched its third round of public input for the comprehensive plan using an online public engagement tool. To learn more about a question before you answer, see the text and photo descriptions provided. For yes/no and multiple choice questions, please provide comments. The questions will be available for input through early June, so you do not need to respond to all questions at once.

The City is using Polco, an online public engagement tool, to ask follow-up questions based on the input received at the quadrant meetings in February and March 2019. Visit the City’s Round Rock 2030 website to learn more about the public input we’ve gathered so far.

National Night Out
Tuesday, October 1st, Approximately 6-9 p.m. (times vary by block)
National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-building campaign that falls on the first Tuesday of every October in Texas.  It promotes police and community partnerships and camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safe, more caring places to live.  NNO enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.  Block Captains and residents may host NNO block party events on their street.  Local police, constable, fire, and EMS will visit NNO event locations.  Stay tuned for more information closer to the event date.
