NEW! Lake Forest Newsletter - November 2008

A Note from the

Architecture Control Committee

Adding a pool in your backyard? A new landscaping

project? How about a deck or covered patio? This is

traditionally the busiest time of the year for home

improvements in Lake Forest, but don't forget to

complete the Architecture Control Committee info

form at http://www.lakeforestrr.com/pdfs/ACC-form.pdf

before you start any project. Please add your email

address on the form so we can get in touch with you

faster with any questions. The purpose of the ACC

committee is to protect property values by maintaining

the environment and architectural integrity of our

neighborhood. Since some requirements have changed

over the years, the safest way to protect your upgrade

investment is to get approval first.

It's often the simple things that affect how our

neighborhood looks to residents, potential buyers, and

real estate agents that drive through Lake Forest every

day. Store your trash cans out of view. If you live on a

corner, trim trees and plants along the corner so that the

area between 3' and 6' from street level provides an

unobstructed, safe view for cars coming around the corner.

Lake Forest requires your garage to be the first choice and

driveway to be the second choice for parking vehicles.

Homeowners may not store any items in their garage that

prevent the parking of vehicles in the garage. Pull your car

completely into the driveway to allow walkers and children

to use the sidewalk without entering the street. Maintain

proper weed control in front and backyards. Satellite

dishes are allowed on the rear half of your home. Many of

our builders are running out of lots, so it's up to each of

us keep Lake Forest the upgrade neighborhood of

choice in Round Rock. Visit our Lake Forest website for more

details.
